These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Oldtimer Map, including our website (oldtimer-map.com and its subdomains), our iOS and Android application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is provided free of charge.

By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or registering, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and (for the mobile app) our End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Introduction

Oldtimer Map helps classic car enthusiasts discover and share events. We provide the Service at no cost. These Terms explain the rules for using the platform. The EULA separately governs your license to use the mobile application software.

Accounts

You may need an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

User-Generated Content

"User Content" means content you submit through the Service, including event listings (titles, descriptions, dates, locations, images, contact details), place suggestions, reports, and feedback.

You grant Oldtimer Map a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, display, reproduce, and modify your User Content as necessary to operate, promote, and improve the Service.

Published event details are generally visible to other users and the public on our map and event list. You must not submit content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harmful, spam, or otherwise in breach of these Terms or our Community Guidelines. We may remove or refuse content at any time. We do not pre-screen all User Content. You represent that you have the rights to the content you post.

AI-assisted event creation

In the mobile app, you may optionally upload an event flyer so we can prefill event fields using automated analysis. This feature is not guaranteed to be accurate or complete. You must review all prefilled information before publishing. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of event listings you publish. Data processing for flyer analysis is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to, and you will not permit others to:

• License, sell, rent, lease, assign, distribute, transmit, host, outsource, disclose or otherwise commercially exploit the Service or make the Service available to any third party.
• Modify, make derivative works of, disassemble, decrypt, reverse compile or reverse engineer any part of the Service, except as permitted by law.
• Remove, alter or obscure any proprietary notice (including copyright or trademark notices) of Oldtimer Map or its licensors.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its content, features, and design (excluding your User Content) are owned by Oldtimer Map or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials except as expressly allowed.

The Service may include links to or integrations with third-party websites and services (e.g. maps, app stores, event websites). We are not responsible for third-party content or practices. Personal data processed by third parties is described in our Privacy Policy.

Service availability

Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Oldtimer Map and its suppliers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed one hundred euros (EUR 100), except where liability cannot be limited under mandatory law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oldtimer Map from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

Copyright complaints

If you believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, contact us at contact@oldtimer-map.com with:

A description of the copyrighted work and the material you claim is infringing.
The URL or sufficient information to locate the material.
Your contact information.
A statement of good faith belief that use is not authorized.
A statement that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Germany shall have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when our practices or the law change. We will post the updated version with a new date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
